When you think of hard rock and metal, you might not naturally connect them to the refined sounds of classical music. The Rock Orchestra by Candlelight has done just that. After entertaining 700,000 people across the UK, USA and Europe, it’s coming to Wellington.
Prepare for a spellbinding 90-minute spectacle infusing rock and metal anthems with beautiful orchestral energy. A band of 13 classical musicians will accompany the fiery tunes. Through a wall of distortion, you’ll witness the unexpected union of classical and metal music.
In an ethereal candlelit setting, you’ll experience the music of famous bands. Hear Metallica, AC/DC, Rage Against the Machine, My Chemical Romance, Linkin' Park, SOAD, Guns N’ Roses, Evanescence, Aerosmith, The Cranberries, and more.
